    Community Addiction services are available to individuals across their lifespan who are having issues with substance use.

    Addiction Services for clients with alcohol, tobacco, gambling, and / or other drug concerns may include: assessment; treatment; referrals to treatment centres; and/or short-term outpatient treatment services.

    Community Mental Health services are available to individuals across their lifespan dealing with symptoms of mental illness. The focus of intervention is short term recovery. Clinicians help clients generate achievable goals for stabilization and change.

    Services are available for children, youth, adults and older adults with mental health concerns. Clinicians work with individuals and families to identify goals of treatment as they relate to their moderate to severe mental health concerns.

    Provides methadone or Suboxone® initiation and maintenance treatment to people dependent on opioids and helps them access services they need to live healthy lives.

    Provides methadone or Suboxone® initiation and maintenance treatment in an outpatient setting. Patients are stabilized on methadone or suboxone under close medical supervision and evaluation of response to medication.

    Services are voluntary and confidential.

  • Child & Adolescent Mental Health Collaborative

    Location: Operates out of The Hive Youth Hub

    This program is a collaboration between the local primary care network (PCN), physician group, Alberta Health Services (AHS), local school boards, the Town and Municipal District (MD) of Bonnyville.

    Collaborative program serves children and youth aged 6 to 17 years old who have their Family Doctor/NP at the Bonnyville Medical Clinic or use the Bonnyville Medical Clinic’s Walk-In clinic for their primary health care.

    Referrals can be submitted by parents, teachers, therapists, doctor or anyone who thinks a child needs help with their ADHD, anxiety or depression.

    Home Visitation and Community Support Programs

    Kiyôhkatowin Home Visitation Workers support your well being and resiliency by assisting you to direct your own healing. Strengthen connection to family, community and culture. Promote physical, emotional, mental and spiritual development of children from pre-natal to 6 years old. Participate in Sharing and Teaching Circles (i.e. self-care, self esteem and healthy relationships). Access supports and services (i.e. income assistance, food bank, etc.). Engage in ceremony and teachings with Elders

    Wâhkômiwêw Navigators will support youth, their parents and caregivers to develop Individual Healing and Connection Plans. Plans will build on individual and family strengths to create positive change.
